Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD or ADHD)
Attention Deficit Disorder is a condition indicated by an inability to concentrate, a reduced and uncentered attention span, difficulty controlling impulses and some times, physical symptoms related to coordination and focus. Individuals with ADD often have difficulty getting organized, are easily distracted, have trouble paying attention and daydream rather than focus on the task at hand.
They often experience anxiety related to beginning a task and may never begin it. Both children and adults, male and female, may have ADD. The mood swings, impatience, irritability, impulsive decisions and low tolerance for frustration associated with this condition can make life difficult for the individual with ADD as well as friends, family and co- workers.
