Holly Gerstell is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor with dual licensure in West Virginia and Ohio. With a compassionate and client centered approach, Holly specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families, providing a safe, nurturing environment where young people feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Holly incorporates a multitude of evidence-based practices into her work. She uses CBT to help clients understand the interplay between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Holly works collaboratively with youth to identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge them, and develop healthier coping strategies. At the heart of her work is the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth. For clients who have experienced trauma, Holly integrates EMDR into her practice to support processing distressing memories, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and promote healing in a safe and structured way.

Holly has expertise working with children and adolescents, in areas including but not limited to the following: anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, low self esteem, behavioral challenges, anger, family conflict and adjustment issues. Holly also has extensive experience working with clients diagnosed with autism.

Holly is deeply committed to creating a space of empathy, warmth, and trust where clients feel safe to explore even the most difficult emotions. She believes in the power of being truly heard and seen, and walks alongside each client with compassion, respect, and unwavering support on their path toward healing and growth.
